At Millie’s Gelato, we feature seasonal, organic fruit like cherries, peaches, strawberries, apricots, and blueberries that we blend with raw cocoa butter, organic peanut butter, Himalayan salt, natural flavor extracts, and fair-trade organic coffee (water-process decaf, of course).
We use raw cacao powder from Ecuador and raw cacao nibs for our chocolate-based gelatos—both are high in magnesium and antioxidants—good stuff that can enhance your mood and brainpower.
Millie’s Gelato is sweetened with raw agave nectar. Agave has a low glycemic-index, so it does not spike your blood sugar level like other sweeteners do.
We make our own raw almond milk and cashew cream; both ingredients make up the base of our velvety gelatos. By using mostly raw ingredients, we preserve sensitive enzymes making our gelatos easy to digest and retaining the essential nut proteins and nutrients.
